Bill LeFeuvre

Bill Lefeuvre joined Murchison Thomson & Clarke LLP as an articled student in February 2016.  A new recruit from Ontario, Bill came to Murchison Thomson & Clarke LLP with a deep appreciation for our milder West Coast winters, which he hopes to parlay into a better golf game.  Bill is a non-traditional articled student, having already enjoyed a first career as an experienced business and non-profit management professional, which cultivated his interest in the law. After graduating Cum Laude in 2011 from the University at Buffalo Law School, Bill spent time in the United States as a Director of Legislative Affairs with a national organization, where he drafted and helped to pass animal welfare legislation at both the local and state level. Upon returning to Ontario’s Niagara Region in 2014, Bill spent 18 months at a family and labour law practice while re-qualifying to practice law in Canada.

An active community volunteer, Bill has served as a board member and advisor to several non-profit agencies, including founding a youth organization dedicated to providing fun and affordable opportunities for young persons to engage in sports. Despite his lack of dance skills and less than impressive Karaoke chops, Bill’s confidence cannot be shaken. You can still find him at the water cooler waxing poetic about his younger days as a professional lacrosse player and that time he did a PSA with Heather Locklear and Malcolm McDowell.

While articling at Murchison Thomson & Clarke LLP, Bill will focus on Family law, Wills and Estates, Insurance Defence, Criminal Prosecutions and traffic tickets..
