Sandy Thomson is a founding partner at Murchison Thomson & Clarke LLP. His practice is focused on Matrimonial and Personal Injury law in addition to general civil and criminal litigation.

Mr. Thomson has a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology and obtained his Bachelor of Laws from UBC in 1981. Since his call to the Bar in 1982 Mr. Thomson has been an active member of the Canadian Bar and the New Westminster Bar Association, having served as President of the latter. Mr. Thomson has been a guest lecturer for the Law Society's Professional Legal Training Course for articling Law students and donates his time to the Newton Advocacy Centre giving legal advice in the area of Family Law several times a year.

Mr. Thomson has been a volunteer Board Member of the Share Society and has served on his childrens' school Parent Education Committee. Mr. Thomson retains a keen interest in sports and continues to participate in Softball, Curling and Golf among other sports.
